Indian Fusion Wedding at Ma Maison

Ma Maison Indian Fusion Wedding

Inspired by Bold Indian Colors and Textures meets Soft and Whimsical French Countryside

The greatest stories and images happen when worlds collide and make something new and beautiful. That, in a nutshell, sums up my feelings about this Indian fusion editorial at Ma Maison. With an ever-increasing amount of couples from varying backgrounds deciding to tie the knot, finding a way to blend cultures and traditions is becoming more important to the wedding industry.

Ma Maison in Dripping Springs is a well-known venue for local and destination couples alike. With beautiful French-inspired architecture and gorgeous Hill Country views, it’s really an obvious choice! With the opening of their new onsite chapel, we wanted to highlight a unique event that hadn’t been seen in Hill Country.

Malleret Designs created an incredible mandap with hues of yellow and sage for the joining of the couple. Our beautiful bride begins her day in a traditional pink and gold sari, adorned with the most stunning hand-embroidered details, and later she changes into a lighter lehenga for the reception. Our groom follows her lead and begins his day in a sherwani and then debuts a classic tuxedo for the reception. The blending of these is so beautiful and fits the tone of each part of the day.

The green cathedral at Ma Maison is an iconic photo spot and ceremony backdrop, but in this event, it became the site for an intimate dinner and evening lounge. The notes of yellow tie the day together as well as the organic feeling to the entire design.

Choosing a favorite moment from this editorial would be impossible, but I’d love if you stopped at the photos of the bouquet for just a minute more. I’ve never seen a bouquet in this shape, featuring air plants or one that ties a multicultural wedding together so perfectly.

Enjoy!
