Our summer travels brought us to the historic city of Charleston, South Carolina. I knew making the most of Charleston with the three littles in tow would be a challenge! In an effort to be more present and less caught up in taking the “perfect shot” I decided to only shoot film during our visit. To say I’m thrilled with the outcome is an understatement!
The way the light filters into the lens in Charleston is nothing short of dreamy. Every street is lined with beautiful spots to take photos and learn about the history of this storied city. The doors, the colors, and the flowers charm you as you stroll through the town.
That’s not to say Charleston isn’t hot, humid and has some troubles of its own. But, I would love to go back and shoot again! And possibly sans kiddos to get the best experience and try more of the restaurants that are just not doable with a 7, 5 and 1 year old!
