If I could tell you one thing about Stephanie and Justin, it’s that we started talking over a Bernie Sanders mitten meme. And that sums it up! They are down-to-earth, funny, and easy to be around and chat with.
Their upcoming wedding is in the fall, so it was exciting to capture spring in Texas for their engagement session. Spring at Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center is magical bluebonnets and hundreds of wildflowers and greenery engulf the entire property. Set against the gorgeous stone architecture, it’s a true Secret Garden feel.
Stephanie has worked in the fashion industry for some time now and I loved the thought she put into her dresses. A boho day dress from Anthropologie was the cutest flirty look for her first outfit. The embroidery and cutouts make it stand out and the fit was so flattering! Her second long gown from Baltic Born is the epitome of classy and elegant. The navy blue pops against her auburn hair and I think Justin would agree, she looked stunning!
When planning a Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center engagement session, one of the benefits is that it’s so beautiful and the scenery so varied, you really don’t need a second location. We spent close to two hours exploring and still didn’t hit all of the amazing places it offers.
I can’t wait to celebrate with these two at their wedding this all at Mae’s Ridge! Congratulations, Stephanie and Justin, it was such an honor to capture this exciting time for you!
