San Fernando Cathedral Engagement
One of the best things about engagement sessions is that they are always unique to the couple. Sarah and Mario’s San Fernando Cathedral engagement session was beautiful, full of their favorite things, and in a place that allowed me to truly exercise my creativity.
Our session started at the Historic Market Square in downtown San Antonio. It’s a place that the couple loves, and the colors and energy there lends itself to a lighthearted and fun photoshoot. We made use of the textures and hues to frame the couple in their happy place. Sarah and Mario were a joy to explore with. The Historic Market is a gem for photoshoots, I’m so glad they chose this as their starting point!
From there, we made our way to San Fernando Cathedral. Mario had planned a picnic for Sarah! Chocolate, strawberries, a delicious Moscato-all the essentials for a summer picnic. And accompanied by an adorable picnic basket and blanket? The sweetest!
Their San Fernando Cathedral engagement session was an absolute dream. The soaring cathedral with intricate architecture and the old world romance make it the perfect spot to capture love stories. On the pavilion in front of the church, there is room for practicing your first dance, enjoying the summer vibe of San Antonio, and appreciating the fountains nearby.
