Camp Lucy on the Creek
Dripping Springs Wedding Venue
Are you getting married at Camp Lucy on the creek? Count yourself lucky if you said yes, or are considering this gorgeous venue. Before visiting Camp Lucy, I didn’t really know what to expect from this popular Texas venue. There are countless beautiful images on Instagram, but to really “feel” what Camp Lucy is, a site visit is totally necessary.
I spent an afternoon at the venue with the ladies from Scarlet Rose Events and received a tour of one of the main areas offered to soon-to-be-wed couples. Our guide, Courtney, along with every team member I met was so kind. Hospitality is clearly a pillar of their company!
The areas featured in this post are known as Ian’s Chapel, The Pavillion, The Lawn, and Tillie’s Bar and Restaraunt. With stunning designs imported directly from Vietnam, blended with a mix of Spanish tiles and lines, it’s unique in an area known for traditional barn-style venues.
Ian’s Chapel is the perfect spot for a wedding, using either the area in front of the chapel or an intimate candlelit ceremony indoor. The ease of walking out of the chapel and straight to the pavilion is unmatched. Much like the views from the archway on The Great Lawn. It creates the perfect ambiance for your guests to enjoy cocktail hour while the happy couple spends some time together, taking photos and enjoying a drink from Tillie’s!
So, are you getting married at Camp Lucy now? If you haven’t considered it, I, for one, think it should be at the top of any couples list!
