Texas Ranch Engagement Session
When Jessie reached out about her engagement session and said that maybe we could do it at the family ranch, I really didn’t know what to expect. It’s where their wedding day will be held as well, so I was eager to see it ahead of time and start thinking about the best spots on the ranch for photos. Little did I know, it was going to be FULL of gorgeous spots for photos and an adventure to get to itself!
On the way to their Texas Ranch engagement session, I passed huge swaths of farm fields, a Road Runner crossed in front of my car, and I saw the most beautiful white, Brahmas cows. For a girl that grew up on the east coast, this drive was clearly full of excitement!
Jessie and Jacob wanted to capture their engagement in a meaningful spot, and a family ranch and their wedding day spot absolutely fit the bill. The rolling hills, aged oak trees and herds of cows was the most idyllic backdrop to an engagement session.
I loved their two outfit choices as well, especially saving the more casual outfit for popping champagne on a cozy blanket! The bright blanket added the perfect amount of fall hues and complemented their outfits as well!
Texas continues to capture my heart piece by piece and this Texas Ranch engagement session was no different!
