An intimate vow renewal/elopement in San Antonio.

So In love, she had to marry him twice.

There is something so special about renewing vows because you already know the person and you are choosing each other forever, all over again. I first met Alberto when we were both stationed in the Army, I cannot believe that was over 10 years ago! I first saw him in the supermarket browsing the aisles. I knew immediately that I needed to reach out, so what did I do? I asked him if he could please help me decide which kind chips to buy. Corny right? Well, it totally worked because we stayed in that aisle talking for what seemed hours, and ever since we have been inseparable. Since that time in the small market in Virginia we have been traveling and making memories. We have two children and two cats (my babies!) and recently purchased the home of our dreams.

I first met Anna though work and I knew immediately that there was no one else I wanted to hire to celebrate this special day with us. Our actual wedding, much like our vows renewal ceremony was extremely special because it was just us, seriously not even our kids were present! The symbolic ceremony was short and emotional but powerful. On the renewal ceremony I think I cried more than on our wedding day!

Saying “I love you forever” to my husband once again, filled me up with the serene love that can only be felt though the deep love intensified over the years. In that moment, time stopped and it was just us, and thanks to Anna we own a little frozen memory of that moment forever.
