Sweet Ezra and his family contacted me to do a cake smash session recently and it was too much cuteness! Their “little man” ate his whole cake and was happy to play in the water and snuggle up to his parents!
I love my cake smash sessions, and I really believe first birthdays are celebration for parents too. The first year of your littles life is hard, full of changes, joyful and exhausting, exciting and bittersweet. I love capturing family photos during these sessions. It’s an important time for everyone!
With Father’s Day right around the corner, this is.the.best. Good dad’s, raising sweet kids. Doesn’t get any better!

Cake smashes can be any theme really, but I think it’s best to keep it simple. No need to overshadow your kiddos cuteness with too many props. They should stay the star of the show. These mustaches add just the right touch of silly and character to Ezra’s shoot. He celebrated his actual birthday with a “little man” theme so we kept it going with for our session too. Huge shout out to The White Kitten Bakes for another beautiful and tasty smash cake.
Even big brother Noah, aka “Black Panther” as he asked to be called got in on the fun! Siblings make things so much fun! If you want to add adorableness to your cake smash session, relax and let the siblings join in!
My favorite part-the SPLASH! Seems crazy, looks super great on camera and the kids love it! And guys, it’s so hot in Texas, I promise your bath water will stay warm for your pumpkin!
Momma and her boys. I may be biased (I have 2 little boys too!) but being a boy mom is awesome. I have a daughter so I can say that being a girl mom is amazing too. But look at those sweet snuggles! Ahh! Little boys just adore their moms!
