Abby and Pau chose to venture to Enchanted Rock for their romantic engagement session! An unlikely pair-a midwest girl and a guy from Europe. The two met in Austin, got engaged in Miami and are getting married in Spain! They hadn’t yet been to Enchanted Rock, an easy trip from Austin, and decided to hike it in evening attire and let me document their love story the whole way!
Enchanted Rock isn’t a long hike, but it’s fairly steep. Pairing that with the Texas summer heat, its not for the faint of heart. Abby and Pau began their session around the base of the rock, twirling and snuggling, while exploring the gorgeous natural terrain. Their ease with each other and genuine smiles made for beautiful photos and wonderful conversations!
For the second half of our session, Abby changed into a gorgeous Badgley Mischka sequin gown. I loved how her bouquet popped against the sequins and how Pau was so obviously smitten with how beautiful she was! A girl who will hike Enchanted Rock in sequins and even go barefoot for some photos is my kinda girl! They climbed rocks for epic views, sweated like crazy and smiled through it all and I think you’ll agree with me, their love absolutely shines through in these photos!
For me, the session was a dream come true! I’ve been wanting to take a couple up to Enchanted Rock for awhile and I was thrilled when Abby and Pau were up for it! The bouquet featuring a King Protea and the hand drawn invitations were just the icing on the cake. I couldn’t have imagined this shoot any other way.
Thank you SO much, Abby and Pau. You have a love that radiates and personalities that are so wonderful to be around. I know you’ll have a beautiful future together!
